Newly appointed Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun inspected on Saturday and for the first time since his appointment as Lebanese army chief the border town of Arsal.
General Aoun toured the entire town’s outskirts in particular the army’s positions in Daher el-Khayl, Wadi Hmeid, Tallet al-Hosn, Wadi Ata, Wadi al-Raayan
General Aoun praised the efforts made by the soldiers deployed in the area and urged them to move forward in the preservation of the land, the nation and the people against terrorism jeopardizing the country.
