The army units continued on Thursday its preparations to implement the fourth stage of “Fajer el-Jouroud” in the outskirts of f Ras Baalbek and al-Qaa. The Lebanese army is shelling the rest of ISIS positions in Wadi Mirtbaya and its surroundings, while the engineering units works on dismantling mines left behind by the terrorists.
The army had announced Tuesday that it became in control of 100 out of 120 square kilometers of territory previously held by ISIL after capturing several strategic hills and areas.
