NNA -Change and Reform Secretary, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, told the Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio station that “parliamentary consultations were proof of political forces’ rallying around the new presidential mandate for a strong and constitutional beginning that suggests fast government formation.”
“Today, the Prime minister-designate will begin his consultations at the Parliament to listen to the requests of the blocs in terms of ministerial portfolios. We will share the burdens and the responsibilities,” he said.
“The oath statement has formed a common denominator for all parties, and has thus immunized the launching of the first government in the first constitutional era since the Taif,” Kanaan concluded.
