NNA – MP Qassem Hashem visited Rashaya’s Independence castle on Monday, representing President Michel Aoun, House Speaker Nabih Berri, and Caretaker Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
“We are now in the beginning of a new tenure with the election of President Michel Aoun; we hope to resume this tenure with the formation of an all-inclusive national unity government,” Hashem said in a speech.
“Everybody is concerned with saving the country from what it suffered previously, and with facing all challenges with a spirit of national unity, in order to restore confidence between the state and the citizens,” he concluded.
