Prime Minister Saad Hariri held talks Monday at the Grand Serail with the U.S. congressman of Lebanese origin Darrell Issa, the PM’s office said.
Issa is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and of its Foreign Affairs Committee.
He was accompanied by a delegation and the meeting was held in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard and Hariri’s adviser for economic affairs Mazen Hanna, Hariri’s office said.
“Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the bilateral relations between the two countries,” it added.
