The newly appointed Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received at his office in Yarzeh, MP Sami Gemayel, former Minister Nicolas Sahnawi and Secretary-General of the Future Movement, Ahmed Hariri, with whom he discussed the latest developments in the country.
He also met the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali bin Hamad Al-Marri, and discussed with him relations between the armies of the two countries.
Aoun later held a meeting with the Personal Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Sigrid Kaag, with talks featuring high on the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
