A communique by the Army department of Information stated the following:
The Lebanese army artillery corps and its air force performed surgical strikes against several positions of the terrorist group Daesh known as (ISIS/ISIL), Saturday in Martbaya Valley and its surroundings causing the destruction of several of their compounds and inflicting deaths and injuries in their ranks.
