MP Moussawi says Lebanon’s crisis must not be linked with regional conflicts

Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Nawaf al-Moussawi urged Sunday all the political powers to work in order to save Lebanon from the current crisis,” stressing the need to break the connection between Lebanon’s crisis and the conflicts taking place in the neighboring region, most importantly the crises in Yemen, Syria and Iraq.

He hoped that the necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible in order to revive the work of the constitutional institutions.

During a ceremony held in the southern city of Tyre, the deputy pointed out that adopting a policy of delay in an attempt to force a change of stance will be useless, stressing that their position will not change.

“Hezbollah’s current position aims at protecting Lebanon and the unity of the people,” he said.
