An attack outside an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena Monday night killed at least 22 people.
Many of the fans at the concert were young people. The blast sparked panic as thousands of people rushed for the exit
According to CNN, the attacker, who was carrying a bomb, was acting alone and died at the arena. “We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity,” said Chief Constable Ian Hopkins.
A total of 60 ambulances attended the incident at Manchester Arena, where US pop star Ariana Grande was finishing a concert.
