Yemeni Navy Warns Foreign Vessels of Violating Maritime Borders

Yemeni Navy coastal Defense warned on Tuesday every vessel of carrying out any action related to Saudi-led alliance against Yemen, as well as of approaching territorial waters for any reason without taking prior authorization from Yemeni authorities.

“For more than a year and a half the aggression alliance has been committing the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people by murdering children, women and elders, bombing markets, houses, vital installations and all necessities of life, and killing fishermen and destroying their ships on the coasts and in the islands,” a statement by Yemen’s Navy read.

“On Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 2:15, a Swift-type Emirati military ship was targeted by a special missile, destroying it off the coast of Mokha city. The ship has been recently providing logistic support to the US-Saudi coalition,” the statement added.
