The insistence of President Michel Aoun on a new electoral law, namely the proportional law, and his bet on people to fight corruption, coincides with the Head of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri’s positions on the same law and the formation of a parliamentary committee to combat corruption. This insistence also joined the efforts of Prime Minister Hariri in this regard, which resulted in the signing of 16 cooperation protocols with Egypt.
Ad-Diyar Newspaper also reported, in its Friday issue, that if the three leaders continue to work in this manner and follow this workshop, the country will be able to achieve significant milestones at the internal level, thereby enhancing its stability. Moreover, this will inevitably lead to the restoration of Lebanon’s role in the Arab and international arena.
