House Speaker, Nabih Berri, met Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, at his Ain-el-Tineh residence.
The meeting follows prevalent pessimism over any breakthrough in the government formation. Mr. Nabih Berri has been very vocal in his criticism of the delay in government formation. He has warned of the delay’s impact on the country’s economy.
Following the meeting FM Gebran Bassil addressed the reporters and said:
“We spoke about different topics that can help us on different issues, including the government formation, displacement and other matters. It was a positive meeting,” Bassil concluded.
