Council of Ministers Secretary General Fouad Fleifel has arrived at Baabda Presidential Palace in preparation for announcing the government resignation and new cabinet formation decrees, NNA correspondent reported on Sunday.
It is to note that once the final touches are added to the new government formation decree, Fleifel will read out 3 decrees: the first being the resignation decree of PM Tammam Salam’s cabinet, signed by President Michel Aoun alone; the second is the decree of assigning PM Saad Hariri to form the new cabinet, solely signed by President Aoun as well, and the third decree pertaining to the new cabinet formation, signed by both President Aoun and PM Hariri.
