Bassil says Christians are marginalized, vows to continue defending their rights

Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said on Saturday that no one can fool him into thinking that Christians are not marginalized in the government, vowing to continue defending their rights.
“Our fight is not political, factional nor partisan, however we refuse any equation which allows the Christians to be outside leadership. No one should tell us that we are still on the inside. We are marginalized,” Bassil said addressing the Lebanese community in California.

Free Patriotic Movement leader Bassil have repeatedly threatened to take to the streets during the next presidential election session if FPM founder Michel Aoun is not elected as president.
