Araiji signs film production agreement with French counterpart

????????????????????????????????????

Caretaker Minister of Culture, Raymond Araiji, signed on Thursday an agreement with French Minister of Culture, Audrey Azoulay, in the field of film production. The event took place at the National Museum in Beirut in the presence of Ambassador of France, Emmanuel Bonne.

After touring inside the museum, Araiji noted that the French Minister’s visit was multi-purposed, but the main objective was the signing of the bilateral agreement that would see the activation of cooperation between Lebanese and French cinema productions.

Azoulay was impressed by the magnificence of the museum and its contents. She asserted that the signing of the agreement was not haphazard, but based on the presence of many Lebanese and French talents that should cooperate and share expertise.

“There will be many projects in support of this agreement in Paris and Beirut, and in the framework of Cannes Festival.”
