NNA – “Change and Reform” bloc MP Ibrahim Kenaan categorically stressed that “extension is rejected in all its clauses,” saying that the bloc shall face democratically the extension operation if it occurs tomorrow.
“If there is political will, we can reach an election law within days,” MP Kenaan said in the wake of the Change and Reform bloc’s delegation meeting with Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Grand Serail.
Kenaan, Head of Finance and Budget House Commission, underlined that the needed efforts for reaching a new vote law were way better than going to the mandate extension option.
The Lawmaker emphasized the Free Patriotic Movement’s utter commitment to the constitution and the democratic system, with all its related matters notably the proper formation of power, first of all, avoiding extension.
