NNA – “Lebanese Forces” Party Leader, Samir Geagea, strongly denounced in an issued statement on Sunday, the terrorist attack on Egyptian soldiers in northern Sinai, considering the attack as “falling within the context of the ongoing desperate attempts to undermine Egypt’s role.”
Geagea offered his “heartfelt condolences to Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi and to the Egyptian brethrens,” expressing “full confidence in the ability of the Egyptian President to keep matters under control, maintain stability and restore the Egyptian role which provides balance to the region.”
He also stressed on “the need to stand united in the face of terrorism by taking all the necessary political and security measures to that effect.”
