NNA – House Speaker, Nabih Berri, cabled on Sunday Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, his Egyptian counterpart and Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Theodore II, condemning the terrorist attacks that targeted two Egyptian churches on Palm Sunday mass.
Berri said that these terrorist and bloody crimes targeted coexistence in the East, the social fabric of populations, and moderation.
He also called for a joint Arab and international action in the fight against terrorism in order to counter the rising threats against Levant and Maghreb countries as well as the countries of the world.
