The Lebanese Army Command, Direction Directorate issued the following communiqué:
Following the incident and the shooting that took place yesterday in the neighborhood of al “Hara al-Barraniya” in the district of Tripoli, between two citizens for special reasons that resulted in the death of a citizen and the injuring of another, an army force raided the homes of the fighters involved in the incident.
Six people were arrested and multiple weapons were confiscated: two Kalashnikovs, three hand grenades, two rockets belonging to an RPG launcher, six shells of various caliber, as well as a quantity of light ammunition, military equipment and radios , as well as an ISIS flag.
The detainees were handed over to the authorities for the necessary procedures.
