Minister of Information, Melhem Riachi, indicated that the ministerial council will convene every Wednesday, as reading out the decision of the new Cabinet’s first meeting at Baabda palace today.
Riachi also confirmed that work would focus on preserving security and stability, as well as on prioritizing people’s affairs.
“Ministers bear the responsibility of dealing with corruption inside their ministries,” he added.
“President of the republic Michel Aoun said that the task of the government is to draft the state policy,” he said.
“Prime Minister Saad Hariri called the security apparatuses to remain fully ready to preserve Lebanon’s security,” he indicated.
