President Michel Aoun will head a delegation to Jordan on Tuesday to partake in the 28th Arab League summit which will be held in Amman, and to hold talks with several Arab leaders, media reports said on Monday.
Prime Minister Saad Hariri will accompany Aoun and so will Foreign Minister Jebran Bassil and Minister of Economy and Trade Raed Khoury.
Reports said that Khoury has already flown to Amman on Sunday to participate in the meetings of the Arab economy ministers. Bassil is also set to head there before the President to take part in the Arab foreign minsters’ preparatory meetings ahead of the summit which begins on Wednesday near the Dead Sea.
The President is set to hold talks with several Arab leaders, the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi.
