Mufti Darian says presidential elections remains top priority in Lebanon

Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Darian stressed Sunday that Lebanon’s priority remains the presidential elections, noting that the current paralysis affecting the constitutional institutions cannot be treated without a new president.

On the occasion of the start of the holy month of Ramadan, the mufti urged the International Community to put an end to the tragedies of the Syrian and Iraqi peoples, stressing the need to end these “senseless wars.”
