The Lebanese Army raided on Friday three houses and arrested three suspects in the outskirts of al-Hermel who are wanted on charges of weapons trafficking.
The raids were carried out by the Lebanese Army Airborne Regiment and the Army Intelligence agents in al-Shawagir neighborhood in the outskirts of Hermel.
Weapons and ammunition were seized during the raid.
NNA added that several arrest warrants were issued against the detainees.
They were transferred to nearby barracks for interrogations and they will be referred later to the concerned authorities.
