Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun visited on Wednesday President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Palace accompanied by Syrian ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali.
Following the meeting the mufti noted that Aoun was elected by the Lebanese people before being elected by the Lebanese leaders.
“We are not and will not be at odds with anyone, and we call whoever is at odds with us to reconcile with us,” the mufti noted.
