NNA – President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, received an evening phone call from Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz who congratulated him on his election as President of the Republic, and wished him success in his new national responsibilities.
The Saudi monarch confirmed to President Aoun the keenness of Saudi Arabia on national unity among the Lebanese and on the brotherly relations between the two countries.
President Aoun thanked the Saudi monarch on his felicitations, commending Saudi Arabia’s dedication to encouraging the Lebanese to unite, and wishing that the Kingdom would continue to support Lebanon in all fields.
