NNA – Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, hailed on Monday the honesty and position of Hezbollah leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, calling the Lebanese to learn from his political ethics.
“We never doubted your honesty or position towards us (…) it is a position of honesty so that the Lebanese should learn that there are still ethics in politics,” Bassil said from Martyrs Square, where a central celebration upon the election of President Michel Aoun are held tonight.
“We started together as FPM and Lebanese Forces, and we shall stay together to realize a lot and to bring our society back to life,” he continued.
“To Saad Hariri, we say: We shall meet you with the same courage and sacrifice so that we establish real national partnership,” he underlined.
“The nation is for us all, and the republic has returned to all the Lebanese,” he added.
