The Lebanese Army, and in a qualitative operation, succeeded to arrest in Arsal a person called Ahmad Youssef Amon who is one of the terrorist organization Daesh’s top leaders, the NNA correspondent said.
In details, the arrest took place at dawn in Wadi Al-Araneb in Arsal, next to the refugees’ camp where Amon lived. Exchanged shooting between the Army and Amon’s group of companions finally led to Amon’s injury and arrest, and to the death of one of his fellows. Four others were consequently taken into custody.
