Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, called on Sunday during the holy mass service in Bkerki upon political blocs to abide by the Constitution and to support the facilitation of government formation.
Cardinal Rahi expressed his concern regarding the delay in the formation of the government, which should be a unifier and capable of acting in accordance with the national pact and the Constitution.
Rahi pointed out that the socio-economic and national situations cannot progress well in an environment of injustice and absence of freedom in favor of personal and partisan interests.
