NNA – Kataeb party congratulated on Monday President Michel Aoun on his election as the head of the Lebanese state, confirming full determination to cooperate with him to achieve the goals outlined in his inaugural speech.
The party’s politburo, which held today its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of MP Sami Gemayel, also congratulated Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, on his nomination to form a new government.
“Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri is expecting the political parties to facilitate the birth of a national unity government,” Kataeb said, highlighting the necessity to prepare for the next legislative polls.
The party did not fail to capitalize the obligation to heed livelihood matters, and address the pressing social and economic needs, which have tremendously grown since the war next door and the consequent massive influx of displaced Syrians into Lebanon.
