Prime Minister Saad Hariri welcomed Thursday the role played by the army and the security forces in the preservation of security and stability in the country, as well as their efforts to combat the scourge of terrorism.
“The government will spare no effort to provide support to the army and the security forces so that they can fulfill their tasks,” he said.
Speaking on Thursday evening from the Grand Serail, Hariri welcomed the Minister of Defense, Yaacoub al-Sarraf, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, General Jean Kahwagi, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk, General directors of the ISF, Ibrahim Basbous, General Security, Abbas Ibrahim, and State Security, Georges Karaa.
