NNA – Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received a delegation representing the “Beirut Marathon” Association headed by Mrs. May Khalil, who visited him at the “House of Center” on Saturday, presenting him with Card #3 for participating in the Marathon on Sunday.
“Beirut has demonstrated a huge resistance,” said Hariri, speaking before the delegation.
“Today, we are witnessing a new form of resistance and perseverance, for we now have a President and seeking to form the new government, God willing, the soonest possible,” he added.
“I hope to partake in the Marathon tomorrow, for it is really an inspiring event,” concluded Hariri, stressing that “on this day, more than any time in the past, we wish to show that Beirut is the mother of all cities in the Middle East.”
