Army chief, General Joseph Aoun, met on Tuesday with British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter, accompanied by Defense Attaché Colonel Chris Gunning.
Talks reportedly featured high on the current general situation in Lebanon and the broader Arab region, as well as on military cooperation between the two armies.
Separately, Aoun met with Secretary General of the Higher Lebanese-Syrian Council, Nasri Khoury, with whom he discussed the condition of borders between Lebanon and Syria.
He also met with Baalback-Deir-al-Ahmar Maronite Archbishop Hanna Rahme.
General Aoun has earlier received MPs Alwalid Succarieh and Simon Abi Ramia.
Talks touched on most recent developments on the local scene.
