NNA – President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Aoun, confirmed that he was determined to liberate the judicial authority from the effect of politics on said authority, stressing the necessity to find a rigid relation among all state institutions.
President Aoun’s stance came Thursday as he received at Baabda Presidential Palace a delegation of the attorneys syndicate in Beirut headed by the chief of said syndicate Antonio Hashem.
“Anyone defending the right will have the support of the Lebanese President as I will be standing by his side,” said the President.
He explained that “as long as the cooperation is ongoing among different institutions the reform will be rapid.”
