Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai visited the town of al-Qaa on Thursday where he headed a mass held as a tribute to the martyrs and wounded who were the victims of a recent massive wave of suicide bombings that targeted the village last month.
Addressing the residents, he expressed complete support, noting that nothing but the state of law is able to protect Lebanon.
He also called on the International Community to put an end to the wars raging across the region through political solutions, stressing the need to ensure the safe return of all the refugees to their homes.
