NNA – Tourism Minister Michel Pharaon said on Thursday, after his visit to Head of the parliamentary bloc “Change and Reform”, General Michel Aoun in Rabieh that the presidential dossier required more consultations and dialogue, as well as guarantees on the part of Christians, Hezbollah party, the Future Movement and the Arab parties.
Regarding the FPM’s boycott to the cabinet session, along with some Christian ministers, Pharaon said that “the Free Patriotic Movement and others have not resigned from the government and do not want to scuttle it.”
“They are rather attached to the preservation of state institutions,” the minister said.
“General Aoun holds on to the State, its institutions and the government, and we ask that the path to dialogue remains open,” the Minister of Tourism concluded
