NNA – Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, met on Saturday at the House of Center with the International Support Group for Lebanon, including: United Nations General Coordinator in Lebanon, Sigrid Kaag, Ambassadors of China, France, Germany, Britain, Russia, Italy, United States and the European Union, as well as Arab League Assistant Secretary General.
On emerging, Kaag described the meeting as “excellent.”
She added: “We discussed a number of topics, which we had also deliberated over with President Michel Aoun, particularly regarding the Prime Minister’s vision for the country and the establishment of national unity, and the priority he gives to the economic situation and parliamentary elections, and to a more effective management of the refugees issue in Lebanon, in addition to all ways in which the International Support Group and international community, as a whole, can be of help to Lebanon for the success of the common vision shared by both President Aoun and PM Hariri.”
