NNA – Industry Minister, Hussein Hajj Hasan, on Tuesday received at his office EU Ambassador, Christina Lassen, and a delegation of the European Commission and discussed with them the agreement of partnership between Lebanon and EU.
Minister Hajj Hasan hoped that EU would help Lebanon boost the Lebanese exportation to EU countries.
“We consider that one of the most important solutions to our economic and social crises is increasing the exportation of Lebanese products, especially to Europe, and facilitating and quickening the accomplishment of the procedures taken in this regard,” said the minister.
Ambassador Lassen, for her part, said, “We are here to study means for strengthening the trade course and finding job opportunities…We want to help Lebanon in this concern, the delegation will hold this week a series of meetings with the public and private sectors.”
