Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdullatif Darian maintained on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia backs the overall causes of Muslims and Arabs, especially Lebanon so that it surmounts the political, economic, and security crises saddling it.
“The Lebanese highly value and appreciate the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Lebanon and the efforts it is exerting to assist the Lebanese state institutions,” Darian said during his meetings with the Islamic Cooperation Organization in Jeddah.
The cleric also stressed that Palestine would remain the central cause for the Arabs and Muslims.
