Caretaker Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister and Free Patriotic Movement head Gebran Bassil, said on Sunday that the next government would be a transitional government.
Minsiter Bassil’s words came on Saturday during FPM annual dinner in Fih in Koura District.
Bassil added that the new government would supervise legislative elections in order to organize them on time.
He stressed the need for the approval of a new electoral law that meets FPM’s aspirations for fair representation.
He added that the new law does not undermine the representation of any party but gives each party its right; which will lay the foundations of a stable political system that paves the way for the reconstruction of the State.
