NNA – Maronite Patriarch, Beshara Boutros Rahi, underscored on Saturday afternoon the importance of the coexistence harmony between Muslims and Christians, stressing that “both sects have produced Lebanon’s civilization.”
Rahi’s words came in a speech which he delivered at “Our Lady of Lebanon School” in Rmeich village where he was welcomed by a number of students and educational bodies.
Rahi saluted both the educational body and students, mainly the Muslims ones, confirming that “Lebanon is a country of coexistence per excellence.”
He concluded, “You are at this region the fence of our homeland (…) and you protect our existence.
