Former Prime Minister Najib Mekati rejected via Twitter, on Sunday, “any attack against the Premiership position or the person of Prime Minister Saad el-Hariri,” considering it “unacceptable” while supporting citizens’ legitimate right to demonstrate and express their opinions.

Israeli enemy warplane violates Lebanon’s airspace
An Israeli enemy reconnaissance warplane violated on Thursday at 11;25 the Lebanese airspace and executed circular maneuvers over Beirut and its suburbs, Iklim el Kharoub and Jbeil, then left at 16;50 towards the occupied territories, the Army directorate said in a statement.
