NNA – Director General of General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim visited on Friday noon UNIFIL’s headquarters in the south in light of the repeated Israeli violations along the Blue Line and the opening of a Israeli military road in Shebaa Farms.
Major-General Michael Beary, Commander and Head of Mission of the United Nations Interim Force received Ibrahim and held a meeting with him.
Both sides evaluated the security situation along the southern borders. They also touched on the ongoing cooperation between the General Security and UNIFIL.
