Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea expressed optimism over the latest developments witnessed on the local political scene, stating that the presidential vacuum will come to an end with a president “made in Lebanon.”
Following his meeting with MP Michel Aoun in Rabieh in the presence of MP Ibrahim Kanaan and Melhem Riachi, Geagea denied reports statin that there’s an agreement between him and Aoun suggesting that he will be president after six years.
He also hoped that all the parliamentary blocs will back Aoun for the presidency.
“The next step after electing Aoun is forming a cabinet headed by Hariri,” he said.
