NNA – There will be a president of the Lebanese republic on October 31, and the new Prime Minister is Saad Hariri, Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea indicated following talks with the former premier at Bayt-al-Wasssat on Friday.
“I hope an agreement would be reached over MP Michel Aoun before October 31; otherwise, everybody must remember that these are polls and this how we must handle the presidency,” he said.
Geagea also confirmed that ties with Future Movement had returned to their former terms. “Everything we do is to accomplish the project of Wissam Hasssan and March 14. Do not be deceived by appearances, because all what matters to us is March 14 project.”
The meeting was attended by former lawmaker Ghattas Khoury, and Head of LF Media and Communication Department Melhem Riachi.
