Nasrallah lashes against KSA, reiterates commitment to army, people, resistance equation

NNA – Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed on Wednesday, during his second live appearance within the last 24 hours, that the equation of army, people, and resistance should be preserved at all costs, as should the government’s work. He highlighted his commitment to the positive political action undertaken by the Lebanese components, reiterating “the decisive position of Hezbollah on the presidential issue.”

Speaking during the 10th night of Ashura Commemoration in the southern suburbs, Nasrallah noted that the number of attacks during the Hussein Commemoration processions has decreased due to the defeats that befell terrorist groups. He vowed to keep an eye on Lebanon’s southern border in his continuous fight against Israel, as well as the northern border to fend off takfirists.

“The resistance will keep a watchful eye on Israel, its plots and its internal situation. Lebanon’s strength lies in its army, its people and its resistance. Our eyes will be open to the southern border. We will always be present in the east in order to cope with the takfirists.”
The Secretary General also touched on the situation of his party, noting that “some are betting on the number of our martyrs and the financial and economic sanctions imposed on us…but we will not give up…we will not be broken or destroyed.”
Regarding Syria, Nasrallah said that Hezbollah will not abandon its responsibility and “there we defend the axis of the resistance, Palestine, history, dignity and the future.”
Shifting to the war in Yemen, Nasrallah dubbed this Ashura’s March “solidarity with the oppressed Yemeni people”, claiming that the “imposed war by Saudi Arabia on Yemen” has no political goals but stemmed out of hatred and revenge against these people.

Nasrallah added that the Saudis retaliated against the Yemeni people whenever they asked for independence and dignity.

He went on to say that this Karbala scene showed persistence and steadfastness against the “US-Saudi Arabia murderous machine.”
“In Yemen, as in Karbala, tragedy, sadness, pain and tears have returned to center stage. However, as in Karbala, the fight is the best response to the Saudi-American killing machine. No one can scare hundreds of thousands of brave fighters in Yemen.”

Nasrallah highlighted the role of the Yemeni fighters, saying that they would definitely be victorious in their country.

“The nose of Saudi Arabia was rubbed in dirt in Yemen,” he concluded.
