Hariri condemns Istanbul, Cairo blasts: Terrorism has no religion

Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, condemned on Sunday the explosion that targeted Cairo’s Coptic cathedral and the twin bombings in Istanbul.

“Terrorism has no religion and does not differentiate between a Christian or a Muslim. Terrorists want to kill as many people as possible in addition to destroying and dismantling societies,” PM-designate Saad Hariri said in a statement published by Future Movement’s Media Bureau.

“The International community must not only fight this phenomenon but also deal with crises and wars,” the communique added.

Hariri reiterated his solidarity with Turkish and Egyptian officials in their efforts in combating this phenomenon, expressing sympathy to the relatives of the victims.
