After tight negotiation with Minister Bassil, U.N. agrees to renew Peacekeepers in Lebanon !

The United Nations Security Council unanimously voted to renew the mandate for a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon on Wednesday.

After tense negotiations between Lebanon, precisely between Minister Gebran Bassil and the U.N, Lebanon accused Israel of violating the ceasefire by sending warplanes into its airspace.

Meanwhile Israel complained that the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a too soft approach toward enforcing the 2006 ceasefire and that it would like to see stronger action against Hezbollah.
