Israeli Drone Crashes in Southern Lebanon
A drone crashed Saturday in an open field in southern Lebanon as result of a technical malfunction. According to the IDF report, the drone crashed between the villages of Beit Yahoun and Barashit on Saturday.
According to an earlier report by al-Manar TV, the drone was destroyed by Israeli fire after it crash-landed on the ground. Reports in Lebanon said the drone was armed with four missiles and landed between the villages of Beit Yahoun and Barashit and was then destroyed by another drone, reportedly Israeli
According to foreign sources, the Hermes 450 was used in targeted assassinations that were attributed to Israel. The drone is manufactured in Israel by Elbit. Each one costs 2 million shekels ($570,000).
